Amazon constantly innovates to enhance user experience, and one of its features is AmazonConfirmedFit also known as “Automotive Part Finder”. It helps users find the right automotive parts for their vehicles. These features are designed to streamline the shopping process and ensure that customers purchase compatible products.
PCFitment provides a feature “AmazonConfirmedFit” in the Parts list screen under the “My Parts & Fitment” menu like below.
Here, you can see that there are two types of icons in the column “AmazonConfirmedFit”.
Please make sure that your Part Number has their ASIN (which is provided by Amazon).
Inside the column "AmazonConfirmedFit" where you can see a green tick that shows your product configuration is correct and the fitment stripe is showing on the Amaozn front page.
Inside the column "AmazonConfirmedFit" where you can see a red cross that shows your product configuration is Incorrect, So Your fitment won't be synced, and the fitment stripe is not showing on the Amaozn front page.
There can be many reasons for the fitment stripe not being visible. Let's see the reasons one by one.
- Invalid Browser Node: The Amazon browser node or tag should be either “Automotive”, “Automotive Parts & Accessories” or "ALL" like the below-attached screenshot. If the browser node is not automotive then your Part number + Fitment will not be synced. To show the browser node on the product page, you need to consult with Amazon seller support and ask them to show the browser node in your product.
- Invalid Category: The product root category must be “automotive”. If you do not select the automotive category then AmazonConfirmedFit never displays in your product page. To correct this error, update the category to automotive. Look at the below image.
- Invalid Brand: In the product Information section the Brand Label should be there and it should be the same as your PCFitment Brand which you have associated with your PCFitment Part number, The error message like “Your PCFitment Brand is not matched with the Amazon brand label, It should be PCfitment Brand.
- We can't find the Brand label in the production information section.” To correct this error, you can update the brand of that product. Let's see the below image.
In the above images. A contained the Brand while B did not. So A is the right configuration while B is wrong.
- Invalid Manufacturer Part Number: Inside the product information section the manufacturer Part Number should be the same as the PCFitment Part Number. If it does not match then it will show as an invalid Manufacturer Part Number. The reason like “Your PCFitment Part number is not matched with the Amazon manufacturer Part Number label, It should be AAA instead of the BBB.” To correct this error you can update the Manufacturer Part Number with PCFitment PartNumber.
If the product does not contain the Manufacturer Part Number then it will show an error message like “We can't find the manufacturer Part Number label in the production information section.”
For Example, see the below image:
In image A, there is “Manufacturer Part Number” and it is matched with the PCFitment Part Number but on the other hand there is “OEM Part Number” instead of “Manufacturer Part Number”. So this configuration is wrong.
- If both Partnumber and Brand are missing from the Amazon product page then you will get an error message like “We can't find the Brand & MNP label in the production information section”.
- If ASIN is wrong then a message like “ASIN Not found in Amazon”
